Looking For the Best Locksmith Ottawa Has to Offer? Read These Horror Stories FIRST
I’d love to start by saying that every single Locksmith Ottawa has to offer does a great job.
But I’m afraid that’s not the case AT ALL.
As a landlord, I’ve used many, many locksmiths over the years, and I’ve had to learn the hard way that there’s PLENTY of monkeys in this business.
I don’t know about you, but when I hire someone to change the locks on my doors, I expect to be able to just pay the money and get the job done. And that’s it. No BS.
So you can imagine my surprise when not once, but FIFTEEN times, I somehow managed to hire cowboy after cowboy, who caused the following headaches:
-More than once, I was quoted one price, then charged something completely different. And let me tell you, it was NEVER cheaper. Funny that.
-I was charged an absolute fortune for materials on several occasions. How can a single barrel lock honestly cost $150-$200? Give me a break. It probably costs them $20 wholesale – if that!
-Almost ALL the locksmiths I hired over the years left an absolute mess behind: wood shavings, bits of glass, you name it. I mean, it’s not a huge deal, but it’s not something I want to deal with if I’m paying for their service. Know what I mean?
-Time after time, some of these guys used cheap materials, and the locks just didn’t last. So while the price was slightly cheaper upfront, I ended up paying for it over again. Not cool.
-And finally, when I wised up a little and started asking for references, I found out later it was just their family or friends “vouching” for them. Seriously not cool.
Long story short, obviously I haven’t had very good luck over the years with locksmiths.
But luckily this story has a happy ending.
After practically giving up on the industry altogether, I finally found City Locksmith
They certainly aren’t the cheapest service provider out there, but they’ve been around for quite some time now, they know their stuff, they’ve built a great reputation, and they do an absolutely awesome job – every single time. They’re not flakes at all.
In fact, how I didn’t hear about these guys earlier is beyond me.
Long story short, I’ve used what I call the best Locksmith Ottawa has to offer over and over again for many years now. And I’ve NEVER had a bad experience. Not once.
Like I said, they are slightly pricey, but take it from me, paying a few extra bucks certainly makes it worthwhile. Because you’ll never have to deal with the nightmares I went through! And Thanks for visiting Locksmith Ottawa!
